Fall Stormwater Technical Seminar -- "A Value-based approach to Stormwater Management" by Oldcastle
Please save the date for Oldcastle's Fall Stormwater Technical Seminar on Tuesday Oct. 25th at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA.
The theme for our seminar is a Value-Based Stormwater Management Approach. The 6 sessions over the course of the morning will focus on understanding the balance between regulatory requirements, site constraints, as well as construction, maintenance and life cycle costs. 4 PDH credits will be available, the agenda is being finalized and will be distributed in early September. Please share with your colleagues and register ASAP as space will be limited. Registration is required for this free seminar to receive continuing education credits.
The sessions will feature some of the lessons learned over the past few years since implementation of the updated stormwater criteria including the Runoff Reduction method, new BMP design standards and nutrient credits. Our Keynote Speaker is Randy Bartlett, Deputy Director of Stormwater and Wastewater programs for Fairfax County. Randy will be sharing his insights on what’s next for Fairfax County’s watershed programs related to volume control. We will also showcase a number of projects where Oldcastle helped provide integrated stormwater management to assist teams move forward despite stiff challenges.
